Karben Guard™ Heavy-Duty (Powder Coated) Stainless Steel (304) – Ember Guard. With an aperture of 1.84mm, this product is suitable for a diverse range of ember guard requirements and fine screening applications. The 0.47mm wire thickness (before coating) offers a suitable balance of both strength and flexibility. It can be cut, folded or shaped to allow customisation for various purposes. The manufactured locked edges deliver a smooth but stiff edge which reduces abrasiveness with other materials in service.
*Please Note* This product is supplied with a durable powder coating. However, it is important to be aware that stainless steel is generally considered non compatible with most metal roofing or guttering materials. Installation of stainless-steel mesh onto dissimilar metal products (without adequate separation) may make void the manufacture’s warranties.
Karben Industries does not recommend or endorse the use of stainless-steel mesh with any metals other than stainless steel.
