With it’s 1.9mm aperture, our aluminium ember guard is a great option for a wide range of applications. Aluminium having a lightweight nature, high strength to weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance makes it suitable to be cut, folded or shaped to accommodate almost any situation. The manufactured locked edges provide a stiff edge for safer handling and installation whilst reducing abrasiveness with other materials in service. The AkzoNobel Interpon powder coating further improves longevity relative to bare aluminium mesh variants.
CSIRO tested in accordance with AS3959-2018 (construction of buildings in bushfire prone areas) our 1.9mm aluminium ember guard is suitable for use in BAL-12.5, BAL-19 and BAL-29.
